A few things from an old NC mill office property

Yesterdays digs near an old mill's office building from 1920 in NC - Was about to head home from the mid day heat and hit a merc and a dropped .32 caliber lead round ball right by the truck lol!

I've notice a lot of mercs are really worn when we find them. I guess people back then really held onto the coins.
Picked up on the 16ga shotshell top too. Once upon a time the 16 was a bird hunter's dream. I remember my great grandpa had an old savage 16 gauge. The type where the entire barrel moved backward upon firing.
Nice finds, appreciate you sharing them. Brought back an old memory for me.
