Any info on metal detecting in the bahamas?

I'm goin down to nassau for a couple of weeks in Jan and was wonderin if anyone had any info on rules/regs about metal detecting on the beaches. Any tips or points of interest? any response helps- thanx

Go over to the 'Beach and Shallow Water' section and start looking about. I've seen some Bahama's subjects there before.
