Buying a detector

Looking to buy a detector for under $400 i found this one at Radio shack under the bounty hunter name. Bounty hunter used to be a popular name in the m/d community. Is this worth the money.

also found a Garrett GTAx 550 at local hobby store here for $399

MAinly coin shooting is my goal but also like to poke around old farms and susch. I have already ruled out the bounty hunter looks like the 550 might be for me. seen lots of posts recomending it for coins. Is the loop that comes with it good enough or should i invest in somethin else. It also comes with a 4.5 loop
