I e mailed Minelab and requested a 14 or 15 inch coil be developed for the X-Terra. With a larger coil, the X-terra would be by far the most versatile detector on the market. It would be great for hunting deep targets. I think it would also increase Minelab's sales. I got a reply back from them saying they would bring it up to the engineering department. I think if enough people requested the larger coil, it just might make them stand up and take notice. I'll be first in line to buy one if they come out with one. Minelab has not come out with a larger coil for their other models because the aftermarket company's have made them. With the chip in the X-Terra coils, Minelab are the only one's who can make one.
