Round Things and MD'ers........

Has anyone noticed that the majority of things that people lose that we later find are round?

A partial list, feel free to add more:
coins
rings
pull-tabs (some)
washers
tokens
medallions
watches (face)

Any idea why this is? Are round items easier to lose than others? Is the circle just such a common shape it simply makes up the majority of items in this world?

Yep, I understand you totally, but I don't know the word for it either. It makes sense.

Maybe there are so many round objects because there's less liability to a manufacturer, as well? It' a stretch, I know, but maybe fewer sharp corners?

Re: Round Things and MD'ers........

Round is better in many ways.
  • Round fits your hand
  • Round fits your finger
  • Round is more comfortable in your pocket
  • Round may be more easier to handle

If the above are true then we are handling more round items and therefore more likely to be lost.

Another for the list...

manhole covers...they're round so they don't fall through the manhole.

Round is not always better! Buy your booze in square bottles! It won't roll under the bed ! :icon_jokercolor:
