Lt, hello! Great job of converting the old Sears/Whites machine! Man, I'll tell you, those old curved handles were just not conducive to the ergonomic state! Bet you have greater balance and control now, not to mention the much easier to access threshold switch. I really love to see folks such as yourself transform a mass produced item which is basically "generic" in order to fit the most people, into a custom made machine that suits their own taste!! I've made a hobby out of modifying my detectors when necessary, and again I applaud your creativity and ambition!! Good luck and Great hunting! Regards, Richard.

im not to familiar with these vintage machines but you your mod looks very well don and seems very functional.
