    My Old Compass X-100 Mod.

The X-100 is one great detector but heck to swing this heavy thing with the original rod setup. I planned a couple months how to improve the useability and gathered the parts I thought I would need. The first pic is the before and others are the after.
Now she swings like a dream and the weight is under the forearm and is barely noticed.

I've got my priorities straight. When I get back from detecting I'll get right to it Dear.

Looks good, kinda similar to those Blue & white detectors made in Oregon.

Did you have to totally take it apart & use parts from a whites to make it work?? ..............see ya mark

Compass machines can STILL hold their own against just about anything else out there. Congrats on figuring out a way to take some of the weight off that Beast.
