CZ7 no more battery drain?

I added a switch in series with the neg post on the battery pack and the corresponding post on the cz to avoid having to remove the pack to prevent drain, when i flip the switch i can tuck it back into the compartment and slide the cover closed. I think this is going to work, no drilling or soldering. Just need to use electrical tape on spots for insulation.
