    Mark-1 LTD Mod is Finished!

Below are photos of the conversion in different stages.

    Balanced to Perfection!
I still have to replace the Phillip's screw with thumb screws
when I want to use it as a regular Hip-mount....The extra Wire for Hip-Mounting tucks neatly underneath the detector in the u channel, secured by Velcro.

I tried to have the detector housing mounted more to the rear toward the arm cup but the Balance was terrible...The way I have it now I can hold the detector with one finger in the middle of the hangrip and it is a perfect fit, with just enough play for the Larger 10" Tek Coil......I should have done this years ago...
So Much Better! than have being tied up to a Bunch of Cables like a regular Hip-Mount,but I have that Option if I should choose to do so

Top XL Pro Cover removed from Rod Assembly

    Fnished Product!!!!

Nice work! I'd say new life has been breathed into that unit, but it's more like a gust! Congrats!
The ground is a bank, open up an account with your metal detector.
