To get an accurate reading you would have to unsolder the pots.

Do not necessarily solder. Can be measured directly on the printed circuit board. It is necessary to measure from the middle point to the extreme. That is, you get two measurements from each of the four resistors. I'm on my golden umax, then I would have set everything up as well.
