Not sure about the CORS but the NEL Storm is a beast I use that coil all the time can hit a dime around 10 12 inches just pulled a pocket knife out the other day it had to of bin 15 inches, needless to say this coil has impressed me more then once..

My NEL Storm coil is heavy and will wear most guys out pretty quick, the more you use it though longer you can swing it, about 4 or 5 hours for me....

I have a CORS GIANT and I like it.
I was concerned about it's pinpointer ability given the 17x15 inch size, but in the field I was pleasantly surprised. I also have a small NEL coil (different name, same company) for my AT PRO and it's a great coil that has also exceeded my expectations.
