Bigfoot on the White's Matrix M6

I have a Bigfoot coil which I used with great success on my DFX. I kept the Bigfoot when I sold the DFX, thinking I could use it on my Matrix M6 since they supposedly have interchangeable coils. Unfortunately, that is not true - at least not for the Bigfoot.

Any of you techie types have any suggestions? I can't even begin to tell how much I'd hate to give up the Bigfoot!

Right now, the front half of the coil functions normally. The back half nulls when its directly over the target. As the target is approached from the sides of the back half, it sounds like it's in all metal mode.

Any ideas would be tremendously appreciated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Might want to contact the maker of the coil... All I can think of is that the DFX is a dual freqency (3 and 14kHz) selectable machine and the M-6 is one (14 kHz).. Thats just a guess...

Apparently, I'm beating a dead horse. Jimmy Sierra products hasn't answered yet, but their website indicates that the bigfoot is full compatible with the M6 - which it isn't. Thanks for your input.

Does it just not work? Does it not connect?
