More Golod Basin Meteorites

No sweating up there now the heat of the summer is gone.
As a matter of fact I put gloves on while detecting one morning cause it was so cold with the wind factor untill the sun rose high enough to start the warm up.
38, 9.8, 4.6, 4.4, 3.3, 1.6, .96, .10 = FOR A TOTAL of approx. 62 3/4 grams.
There still out there but gettin harder to SQUEEZE EM out of the ground.
Next trip for me I'll be after some gold its cool enough now to do some pickn an diggin.

Mainly I add to the collection I have.
I have sold a few smaller pieces to hunters to use for "throwdowns" as a sample to tune their detectors to, as you would with gold when nuggetshooting.

Got a few Gold Basin questions......

1. What is the approx. size of the strewnfield?

2. Anyone know the TKW estimate?

3. Was it a witnessed fall? If not, how old do they estimate the fall to be?

Scotto do a google search on gold basin and gold basin meteorites.
The field has a couple estimates on it as far as size but the extent and limits are unknown.
It is estimated to be 15000 + or - 600 years.
Gold basin and the outlying areas have approximately 5 falls classified thats why its a great place to hunt
These are just some rough outlines when you do a search you will find plenty of info.
