Did anyone outside Friday eve witness this? I was not home and did not see it, but it could have produced rocks on the ground.

If anyone saw this, post here. Being outside of Philly, if there is a potential strewnfield close by, I might be able to get out and search.

Missed it myself. What would lead to believe that it may have fallen in this region?

I had no idea where the trajectory for the fireball was, I was just hoping there may be something that fell close by since people south of here were looking north when they saw it, and some witnesses north of my area were looking south. Plus, it was reported traveling W - -> E. But it sounds like this may have ended up in the Atlantic unfortunately.

Here's a short article with video links. There were reports of "popcorn popping" sounds in Delaware, which is an encouraging sign of proximity, but Delaware is on the Atlantic and Bob Matson did the science that put it in the Atlantic.
I would say the sounds heard would put any impact somewhere near Delaware.
