Breccia with iron bits

I found this on the shore of Lake Michigan today......It has a high attraction to magnet and has 2 exposed bits of what appears to be pure iron. I sanded the iron bit down as well as another area on the end - thoughts? The last two are close ups of sanded smooth and then a quick etch

Do the "O Richard Norton" iron/nickle test. The iron/nickle combo is so rare in earth rocks, it is considered the best (layman's) test for id'ing extra-terrestrial rocks. TC
