    Need expert advice

K guys I found this rock. It's about 3x2x2. Holds my magnet. About 2lbs in weight. Looks melted on one side. Could it be a meteorite.

I don't know if this matters but I just tried cutting into it with my sawzall with a metal blade. 5 minutes and I barely scratched it.

Gonna have to say its not a meteorite. There are no flow patterns or evidence of burning. What you've there is what I call iron stone. Its a mix of silicates and magnetite and does not cut with metal tools Gonna have use carbide or diamond to slab it. Not an uncommon material and its often confused with meteorites.
There are plenty of images online but here are a few:

And with metallic meteorites pocking from entry: Name: meteorite3.jpg

Stony meteorites often display smooth exteriours with evidence of scorching however one usually has to cut a slab off to confirm their make up as some don't contain metals in any quantity.
Everyone Believes they have gold buried in the back yard... small wonder so few ever look for it.

Hunter is right, it is not a meteorite, looks like hematite or magnetite.
