had these about 14 years now , got 3 of them for 4 dollars each. so i finally sanded down a window in one ! very cool , what do you guys think ? ok i didnt have time to tell you it has metal flakes inside and streaks of some kind of metal running throught it, also from a large box full of them i picked the 3 biggest . the guy was selling every fossil from morocco you could think of. said it was an old fall scatterd in the desert that was it. PS the one pix is a tiny quartz pebble stuck in the crack pretty cool maybe shows was laying in sand till found.

Looks like real meteorites (very old, weathered) found on the desert. Check their density and you can made nickel test by dimethylglyoxime

Cool ya i thought the winmanstaton lines were only seen on solid iron meteorites ? how would it look in a stony with small flakes of iron ??

Those are stony iron meteorites, looks like chondrite H, L or LL class. It's belong of iron concentration in meteorite. Check density

ok cant really get it checked out till fall , when my friend gos cal poly pomona , thanks ill post the results.
