Me and my son were out with the metal detector yesterday and we decided to scan around the fire pit and this rock set it off. We did the magnet test and it is attracted to magnets. Just looking for the opinion of someone more educated on this. Could this be a meteorite?

Wow, I found several of these types of rocks over the weekend. The ones i found were a little flatter but were big like this and each one had a great tone when detector was over it. Wasnt sure what it was either.
