Hey everyone. I keep meaning to post this but always end up getting distracted and forget. Those of you who have viewed my profile will recognize this piece, as it is my avatar pic. It's solid metal, has two absolutely perfect regmaglypts on one face, very well defined flow lines (more like grooves really), and it also has a silvery shine to it as well.
I found it about 8 months ago, and haven't been able to find a single additional piece that's anywhere close to it. I am thinking about using it as a pendant for a necklace for myself. Any thoughts? IMG_20170626_080818.jpg IMG_20170626_080834.jpg IMG_20170626_080911.jpg IMG_20170626_080926.jpg

Im also in Clark County, NV. Doesnt look like anything from around here, and I have been to a lot of meteorite places out here... Hit it with an XRF gun, or you need to get it classified from a University.

I am thinking about sending it to NEMS. They have a fast turnaround time. Is there any difference between them and a university?
