Iron Meteorite?

I found this by the Ottawa river today. It is very magnetic and dense. Could this be an iron meteorite?

I have provided pictures of the front and back.

it is attracted to a magnet.

You may want to run some tests on it as it does display the "colors" of Platinum METALS oxides

After looking closer, probably just iron ore, not a meteorite. It is porous, or at least has several holes in and around it. But to be certain, test it for nickel.

It's look like a slag. Cut it and show what is in side.
