Possible Meteorite

Found this rock in cracked into separate pieces within close proximity to one another. Fit them back together. Attracts a magnet. Please help identify.

I would say no. Some rocks will be magnetic. This is very fascinating to me as metals have different states and actually have magnetic properties.

There is no obvious fusion crust, but...
The General shape, color, and apparent crystalline structure, plus the fact that its magnetic, and the way it was found all point to a "possible" Carbonaceous Chondrite. Id for sure get it checked out.

Like you said if there is a chance for carbonaceous chondrite (it not attract magnet), rock should has chondrules but isn't.
It's not a meteorite, probably is kind of basalt rock.
