Meteorite found in Wa State

I forgot there was a meteorite forum on TNet. Here are some pictures of a meteorite I found in April. I will be taking it to a local University Geology department for chemical analysis. Found metal detecting. The polished area has Widmanstatten lines visible. They are the straight dark lines.

Try to etch it by Nital 4% (you can find formula at forum). It look unusual but I'm going to side... that is not a meteorite.

I cut a sample and sent it to New England Meteoritical Services. Sorry to say I was wrong. They looked at it with a microscope, it is not a meteorite. I have never been so certain about anything before. I am crushed, but oh well. It is hard to believe normal iron would have lines similar to Widmanstatten lines. I sure learned a lot.
