Take it to a professional that specializes in meteorites. Some universities and natural science museums have such professionals on staff. Nearly all now charge a fee to evaluate anything.

You could also post images here.

Either case, it is very likely you will not get the answer you desire.

Time for more coffee.

Is it magnetic? Can you cut a corner off and see if it is bright metal like silvery in color?

If I was sensitive to possible negative responses, I would have just went on with my own diagnosis of a meteorite, honestly I want the thing identified more than I want it to be from space. So please any idea is welcome.

The innards of this specimen is a bright metallic silvery especially in direct light. On a whole, the rock is really really heavy for its size, also when held in the hand, you can really tell that it is sharp as if you were feeling a very sharp knife's edge.
Any more clarifying questions?

Based only on the images, I would say some type of smelter slag.

I have also seen ore samples that have appeared similar to yours. A sample sent to a mineralogist may be helpful, as would a sample sent to a professional assay lab.

Time for more coffee.
