Hey all-
So, stumbled across a youtube vid on micrometeorites, and have since purchased a book on them and watched a few more youtube vids. Just curious if anyone has attempted anything with these, and if so, more specifically, what magnet do you use? I'm a complete newbie to this but think it'd be cool to find something like that. Maybe even try my luck at regular ones too eventually (drive aimlessly around by Mifflin/Mineral point on dirt roads). The place I work at has a 65lb pull one, but not sure if its neodymium or not, or which works best for this sort of application. Would one of those magnet on a stick sortsa things (from hardware stores) work? Any insight would be appreciated! Thanks in advance!

I would think a bigger hardware store magnet would work, not the $3 kind. I haven't watched anything on youtube but understand sometimes they collect near home downspouts where they hit the roof then come off.
