    Re: Who is buying gold

Yes. I saw your similar post on another forum yesterday and that, I believe is the company I was trying to think of. Here's their website :

    http://midwestrefineries.com/

I've read other Tnet posts that referred to this company and I also got a good reference from Wallhangers who has done business with them. You might check with him for any specifics or to verify. Best of luck.

    mlayers,

there is another precious metals buyer that I've been hearing about lately that has been getting good reviews so far. aragold. the one thing that they do that caught my eye was they return all stones. I have not used either, so this is just an fyi.

if you goggle them you will see some comments by others.

    Steve :-)

Midwest pays 92% for gold and 88% for silver I believe. I am not sure about platinum.

WOW! No minimum weight at Midwest, thanks for the info. I was beginning to think I would have to take a loss and sell to Medowar jewelers. Again, Thanks. Happy Hunting, Neal

Looks like they raised their percentage of payout. It's now 95% for gold and 90% for silver. That's real good news. I'm about ready to sell some too.
