    Two favorite Michigan finds

    It's been a little dead here (new location?) So, here are my two favorite Michigan finds- a natural copper nugget (found in the LP) and a Saginaw souvenir pin from 1898. The copper nugget had been on my list for while.

    Very sweet pin! What metal is it made of - brass, copper alloy I too have found one raw copper nugget in LP, it is about the size of a penny but more round with lots of pits - sorry don't have a pic but should dig for it and photograph. Great finds my friend, the fair pin is very interesting and OLD!
