Hello, im here in lower Michigan. Its fun researching and hunting alone, but would like to have others to hunt with. Ive got some good spots, but would also like to try new ones. If your in lower Michigan, or Upper Indiana, or Southeastern Illinois, let me know if you are up for it. Thanks!

I'm in Athens. I don't know anyone who hunts anymore. So I take my son with me at times. If he has time. But I would like to share some of my spots and gain some new friends. I see Simon is not too far from me.

Yep, Athens is maybe 20 minutes away. I'm in the process of securing the rights to hunt the location of a ghost town just outside of town. It dates from the 1830's to 1860's, and there is the documented story of a man who buried $200 in gold coins before heading to a saloon, so that he would not be robbed, but got so drunk he was never able to find where he buried it. I could use a partner to tackle the area, 50/50, if it is recovered.

Joe B, I am into gold panning. I live a hundred yards from a camp. I have access to property close by also. The property has never been hunted. But I want to hit the river in back. I did hunt next door, it was a foundry in the 1800's.
Hardly anyone around here even knew it was there. I found some good stuff there. I will be going back.
