Im headed North on the 22nd of December-Stayin 2 nites in a motel Up North that charges 2-300./nite in the summer for their rooms, got one for around 50 bucks!! BEST PART IS:This hotel-and a bunch of other pricey hotels that are closed now near it-all share a sand beach in back...As a paying customer, I am entitled"to the use of the whole beach(all1/4 mile of it)even in back of the hotels that are closed;for any recreation-INCLUDING METAL DETECTING")... thats what the man at the desk where Im staying told me!!!Ya never know if one of them blue-bloods dropped something in the sand and didnt bother to find it,a tennis bracelet,ring,watch... 8)

NIGHT WIND,

sounds sooooooooooooooooooooo cold.

And the wind working at you from all directions,
burrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Could be tough digging in the frozen sand, under
all that snow and ice.

But................

best of luck, never know what you will find.

A winter day along a shore is always an interesting
experience. The sights and sounds.

Be sure to let us know how the experience is and
any finds you may make. I never thought of going
North in the winter for an MD'ing trip :-\

have a good un...........
