    WW2 Historical relic

Recently I was able to purchase a Japanese Samurai sword, I was interested in it due to the seller stating that it was a pickup by a Marine who fought at Sugar Loaf hill during the battle of Okinawa. Thru reasearch I was able to find out the Marine was a decorated hero of the battle and the sword maker a historical villain. I made up a page for it below, thanks for looking.

    Re: WW2 Historical relic

They gave the Navy Cross to enlisted men who were still breathing. If he'd gotten killed he'd probably gotten the Congressional. Cool pickup & story.
