Great finds. Amazing stuff. Where is that inlayed floor at where you took the pictures of the helmets. That has to be in a musuem. The inlay is old world. Great post thank you for sharing.

This is some amazing artifacts! Wish I could read and understand German. My father was in WWII. And I recall him bringing home a dagger and a Luger 9mm that was later stolen from his auto. He also had a silver bracelet made of German coins and a pair of wooden shoes he got in Holland. He was in England, France, Belgium, Holland and in Germany itself at the end of the war. He was with the US Forces and fought at Normandy and the Ardenes where they were surrounded by the German Army for a few weeks. Anything pertaining to WWII is extremely interesting to me. If I were to recover all that explosive ordnance I would be immediately surrounded by police and bomb EOD people. They take all that stuff extremely serious here in the USA. Where did you find all of this? Monty

That's some brave digging your doing. Has anyone over your way ever been blown up digging for relics?

I have never heard of anyone.

Only real danger is if you step on a mine.
