Can anyone help me identify this pin? I understand it's a Navy pin. Trying to date it and what type of pin this is. The back is stamped "STERLING" and has some sort of emblem stamped. Thank you!

These are worn above the left breast pocket on a cammie blouse in the Marine Corps. The Navy puts them on the same spot. We dont wear anything on out covers in the Marines and the Navy does not put anything but their rank on a cover. And the navy might not even put their rank on their covers anymore.
