I can't quite find out what this Shell was fired in, any help to find out what it was used in would be greatly appreciated!

Markings on the Casing:

84 (most likely meaning 84mm I think?)

SP67

St (meaning Strengthened case maybe?)

108 (probably the LOT #)

it also has in big letters DUSSELDORF, JAN 1917, and Rh.M.F.

Need to see a pic and accurate measurements in mm... The St does mean strengthened, the sp67 is a quality control inspection mark Rh.M.F is "Rheinische Munitionsfabrik". To my knowledge the Germans didn't have an 84 mm gun in WW1 but the British did, they called theirs a "20 Pounder" though. If you can get the pics and measurements I can nail down a positive ID for you

I did further research based off of the information you gave me, and it appears to be a 7.7 cm Shell either used in a 7.7 cm FK 96 or a 7.7 cm FK 16 during WW1 by the German Empire.
