Hey everyone, I'm new to this whole thing but here's what I believe to be a flattened musket ball I found in my backyard the other day. It's a fairly heavy piece of lead. At first I thought it may be a button but it's too thick and heavy. Plus there's no shank present. I was told it could be a musket ball flattened due to hitting a hard surface. I found it in front of a bunch of huge rocks which leads me to think it is musket ball!I've already found a few colonial objects in the area including a Buck N Ball which is a smaller musket ball. Any feedback would be appreciated!
Thanks,
Owen

You're exactly right, probably a musketball which hit something hard, like a rock. Nice find!
