Hey all!

Went metal detecting on a property in middle TN. In the back yard at exact opposite ends I dug these two items up. They're just under 2" and weights are 1.04lb and 1.03lb.

Cannon bore, shot, and shell diameters for smoothbore guns

Going by this it looks like they could be a 1-Pdr., but I know nothing on this subject. Anyone have an idea or any other pictures I could get to help ID?

What are they made of? I dont think its canister shot. Maybe some sort of grinding ball or fishing weight. Im sure there is someone out there that can help you.

To be honest, I'm not sure what they're made of. Thanks for the response!
