Got out this morning for an hour hunt with the new Compadre.* Lot of the usual trash, a bit of clad, and one nice keeper. I don't do any relic hunting but I'll take any keepers that I come across. I was hunting a baseball infield when I came across a nice signal that discriminated out at 3:00 position and seems to be a 3 inch coin sized target. I thought, O.K., another 3 inch penny. What a surprise when I pulled out this nice badge at 6 inches. Did a bit of research since I don't know much about badges and it turns out to be a WW2 artillery gunner's hat pin. Thoes of you who have more knowledge of these finds are welcome to share your thoughs. Thanks for looking. HH, Rob. 1471350532769.jpg
