Civil War Relic Hunting in Georgia

Would like to meet someone to go Civil War Relic hunting with. I live near Athens, Ga. ( unfortunately no battles or camps near) but "have detector-can travel" . I dug a lot in the 70/80's when I lived in Virgina and have a nice collection but want to add to it. Please let me know if you are interested in hunting together. Thanks, Jim

I'd love to! I don't have the best equipment, but it'll do well enough. I live in Winterville and have been researching places to dig. I know Winterville would be a great place, but if you know of other places I would be happy to check them out.

He Guys, try to find somewhere around Madison, GA. Sherman didn't burn the homes there because he had Masonic Buddy from there. Check out the library to find Camps.
