Ramrod?

Hey fellas,

I found this today in an area Confed. forces withdraw/fled over. Other relics found in this area have been numerous dropped percusion caps and bullets.

After I had found this, I laid it next to a tree not thinking it was anything. However, after returning home and spending a few mins in my relic books, I thought it might be a ram rod. Luckly, I was able to find the tree I placed it next to.

What do yall think??

Lenght- 39"
Diameter- maybe 30-40 cal.?

I'm not sure but considering where you found it, what else could it be None the less, an interesting find!
