Trigger Guard ID Needed

Made it out on what I think was the most humid day yet here in VA to dig for a few hours and dug this trigger guard about 10" down.

I was able to get the ID close to a U.S. Whitney Model 1841 with the help of a fella on the forum. It looks extremely similar, except for the where the base plate meets the guard at the front where the strap buckle would have been. On the M1841 it's a raised ridge (see below). On mine it stays almost completely flat as it meets the guard.

Any help on narrowing this piece down is appreciated!
