1908 12th regt. inf badge of some kind.

    Hey hey fellow treasure hunters,
I found this close to an old semetary where I live. This town is also very rich in military history, war of 1812 and so on. Well this badge or whatever it is says the following - REG. ARMY
    12th regt.inf
    - ARMY -
    MANEUVERS
    Pine Plains.N.Y
    1908

I was also able to find out that this site is now fort Drum in NY, and that 1908 was the first year it was used for training troops. Well if anyone has any info on what this is, that would be great. And thanks for looking. HH L8R

looks like a watch fob. military connection would make it worth more in my opinion but don't know how much. good find, siegfried schlagrule
