The Etrac is nose heavy, cranked my elbow quickly. Bought the CTX and sold the Etrac.

The CTX is much easier on the arm.

The CTX cost $2,500.00. Too much for me. Good luck to those who purchased this detector.

It is pricey.. like very pricey.
I found a dealer that will sell at 2100. Other machines like the eTrac follow not too close behind. About 700 or so. Warranty from ML on these are 3 years, so 2100 for three years of enjoyment. Not too bad.
I'm just wondering if the eTrac and the CTX perform the same. I'm swaying heavily towards the CTX for the weight distribution, that deepseeker pointed out.
I guess I'll pull the trigger.

My E-trac screen was so dim I needed a flashlight to see it in the house. totally useless in the field. It goes deep but if you can't see the screen what good is it?
