    Question on the Minelab 35

It you’re in a iron pit and there’s nails in the hole with a non-ferrous target in with it will it pick up the nf over the ferrous?

The tone on a ferrous target against the tip is a pulsating tone that is different than the solid tone against the tip on a non ferrous target. This feature comes into play when you are right on top of the target.

It depends on the specifics of the targets! If the items are side-by-side, you cant count on getting only a NF response. Large ferrous items will also fool the 35 into responding as NF. the iron response on the best of targets is only good within a few inches. If you aren't close to a nail, it will still respond as NF.
