excel would be nice to under water metal detect!

The Excal is good for wading or diving while you can't get the box wet on the Sov. Also the Sov XS is not a GT which is the land version of the Excal. Depends if you decated to doing land and water. Water is where most of the jewelry is found as this is where fingers are slippery.

Both can be used on land, but the Excal will be heavier and you can not change coils nor use premium land head phones.
