Clean out Explorer coil cover

Just seen a memo put out by Sandy Burton of Minelabs Customer Service.
Saying that you should occasionly remove your coil cover on the Explorer and clean the soil out of it. Because over time the sand and dirt residue trapped in between the coil and cover, can become magnetized and start to cause falsing. I'm pulling mine off right now. HH

This is correct! This is great advice for all detector's coil covers.

I sealed a cover on a detector with bathtub silicone only to learn there was a gap where black sand entered and drove it crazy.
