Minelab is happy to announce that we have exclusively partnered with Geocaching to bring new twists in the hunt for treasures!

Geocaching is a "free real-world outdoor treasure hunt. Players try to locate hidden containers, called geocaches, using a smartphone or GPS and can then share their experiences online."

Starting today, Minelab will be sponsoring the “Ultimate Geocaching Hunt” for Minelabbers and Geocachers alike to participate in a year-long photo contest which will be housed on Minelab’s Facebook page.

There have been special Minelab branded coins, called “trackables” which are stamped with unique tracking codes and will be hidden in caches throughout the US and Canada, and players will submit their creative photos of their Minelab geocoin to be entered for chances to win various levels of prizes. Each of these Geocoins have unique tracking numbers stamped on them which players will log on geocaching.com.
The contest will run for one year and players are eligible to win one of Minelab's monthly prizes of a Minelab branded vest (one winner per month) and be eligible to qualify for either the (1) First Place prize of a $400 Minelab certificate, backpack, and hat or the (1) Grand Prize of a Mexico cruise for two people! (Please refer to contest rules for full details.)
