accu-trac -pimpoint- etc switch on GT

I don't have the manual for my GT: Can anyone explain the different functions of that switch and how/when to use it? THANKS

Thanks...I knew I could look at an online manual...but never thought about it. I Figured maybe a few would chime in with their personal experience. I see that the switch is disabled unless you are in all-metal mode, so it has lost much interest to me. I almost always use a little disc. I do plan on learning to use the all metal mode at some point (for searching instead of only pinpointing)Unfortunately the only practice I have had has been been with the Elite and that was only a couple hours finding my fiance's lost ring. The weather is not the best right now in Indiana and cold.
