Well I found my real first treasure.
I found a good deal on a "New to me" Minelab X-terra 70!:hello2:
Thanks to Frank from South Carolina I am now in the MLO circle.
I am learning the detector and the MDing Hobby (when someone says Hobby think addiction!) at the same time so I have a lot on my plate.
I hope to get out this weekend and find my first treasure (pull tab :BangHead: ) with it.

Just a thought here.
Why can't I find the pull tabs that are still attached to a full beer can? :headbang:

Later.
Glen

Congratulations on getting into a great machine!

Now...go directly to the Minelab website and sign up (it's free and obligates you to nothing). Then go to the "Members" area and download Randy Horton's FREE E-Book "Understanding Your Xterra". Randy's book is a resource that no Xterra owner should be without.

I don't know about the current status of the DVD's, as they are now old. But you might find these articles good additional reading.
