The following is a list of coins I had on hand in attempt to learn my new Explorer. Test (in air) was done using stock coil and machine was in 'Quick Start' mode(factory settings).

1971 Kennedy 1/2
1963 Washington Quarter(silver)
2001 Washington Quarter(clad)
1907 Liberty Head Nickel
1937 Buffalo Nickel
1975 Jefferson Nickel
2012 Jefferson Nickel
1897 Indian Head Penny
1947 Wheat Penny
1975 Lincoln Memorial Penny
2011 Lincoln Memorial Penny(Zinc)
1907 Barber Dime(silver)
1964 Roosevelt Dime(silver)
1917 Mercury Dime(silver)
2010 Clad Roosevelt Dime

Nice test, but don't forget coins orientation in the ground change all the numbers.

Yes, i am aware of this. I tried to just test them flatly. I would also turn them in varying degrees in front of the coil. This is just the beginning for me lol!
