It really should be the stock coil, as it is in the U.K.
Both the Standard and the Gold Pack are priced the same. I would suggest that you buy the "Gold Pack", which comes with a 5x10" 18.75kHz elliptical DD. Then sell the coil unused to someone out west or on a coast. It's a virtually useless coil in your part of the country, but it's resale value far exceeds that of the otherwise stock 9" 7.5kHz concentric.
