Finally got tired of being concerned about the Headphone and Pinpoint cables on my Blue 1000 being damaged. So.........I used an empty pill bottle to protect them. Used a Dremel to slice it down the side and drilled a hole in the top. Epoxied a rubber grommet to the top with the Headphone cable running out the top and the Pinpoint cable tucked inside the bottle. Cut a slit along the rear base of the bottle and taped the bottle to the end of the control pod leaving the slit open for water/sand drainage. Works great and no more worries about bumping the cables or catching them on something...

Dang it Joe! You caught me. Alright..........it's a combination of Zener and PIV rectifier diodes connected in series to the NEL Attack Coil thru the Pinpoint cable. But I swear it only sends a signal down to 6 ft in the wet sand... :laughing7:
