Just took my new etrac out for a get-acquainted hunt in my front yard. Found three objects, two of which I wasn't expecting. Don't look for photos here, as everything is going in the recycling. But today I found:
1) a three-inch thin piece of wire, at 6 inches deep!
2) A live 30-caliber pistol shell at 2 inches. (I don't own any pistols.)
3) A 4-inch bent square nail. My home was built in 1952. But square nails are from 1910 or earlier.

I have had mine not quite two weeks and have found almost $30 in clad, a silver ring, silver ear ring and a cpl silver quarters... I been basically using the stock programs other than tweaking the tones a bit..The E-TRAC is awesome... I am a coin shooter and believe me I have dug very little trash including tabs, soda cans and bottle caps.

I wouldn't put a live round of ammunition in the recycling bin. Turn it in to a local law enforcement officer or military base for disposal.
